Currently we only take orders for delivery to the UK. Please contact us direct regarding deliveries to other parts of the world.
Postage and Packaging Charges
All standard delivery – £3.95.
Deliveries are packed to order and dispatched from Alnwick, Northumberland using Royal Mail First Class Post, Second Class for parcels of 1kg and over, including packaging.
We aim for goods to be dispatched within 24 hours of ordering, however please allow up to 3 business days. If an item is out of stock and we are unable to dispatch within three business days, we will advise you by email as soon as possible after receipt of your order and offer you a full refund or partial delivery of your order.
The prices for any products ordered will be as quoted on the website, except in the case of obvious errors. For orders made from the UK, VAT is included (20% VAT for teaware, 0% VAT for loose-leaf tea). The cost of delivery will be separately itemised at the checkout (including 20% VAT).
Items added to the Collection gift orders are combined in the same delivery parcel. Gift orders required to be packed separately should be made as a separate order.
If you are local and prefer not to come into the shop, you can order online and, at checkout, chose ‘Collect from Tea Brewery’. We’ll arrange a collection time with you. Bring some ID and (with very clean hands) we’ll bring your order to the shop front door, so you don’t even need to come in.
Please allow a minimum of 48hrs for ‘Collect from Tea Brewery’ orders to be packed, and bring valid ID when collecting the order. Note: our Tea Brewery in Alnwick is closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays during term-time – current opening times can be found here.[UPDATE 26/07/20 Some folk are having problems selecting ‘Collect from Tea Brewery’ prior to – or at – checkout. On my own home computer, I can’t select ‘Collect from…’ at the order page, but I can do so at the final check-out stage just prior to payment. Also, some invoices are no longer generated automatically, but we can do so on request. This is due to a WooCommerce update beyond our control. Sorry, but with our IT support being furloughed, this is something we’re going to have to live with for a while. No one dares mess with the backroom of our website during Coronavirus! xCaroline]
